Joseph May
May's television career began with Nine in 1998 when he took up a production assistant role on children's show Now You See It, while also completing a communications degree at Griffith University.
May went on to spend five seasons with kids science show Y?, where he produced and presented more than 500 stories.
May also worked as a reporter on Extra and field producer on kids show Hot Source, before joining Channel Seven's Great South East team in January 2004.
As well as hosting The Great South East, May reported for Queensland Weekender and Creek to Coast.
In May 2006, he came home to Nine to take on the role of co-host of Saturday Afternoon and weather presenter for National Nine News. May also regularly fills in for Steve Jacobs on the Today Show.
Outside work, May pursues a range of recreational activities, including swimming and scuba diving, and enjoys dusting off his vinyl records or watching a good Australian film.
